Images: This series of images depicts the visit of king Felipe VI of Spain and his wife, queen Letizia, to St. Augustine on September 18, 2015, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the founding of the city of St. Augustine on September 8, 1565.
Humanities Questions: (A) What is your evaluation of the fact that St. Augustine, Florida, is a sister city with Avilés, Spain, the country of which Felipe VI is the current king? (B) What is your personal reaction to the fact that the king of Spain was invited to visit St. Augusine on the 450th anniversay celebration and, with his wife at his side, Queen Letizia, to address a crowd (including the professor-photographer) gathered below him when he was on the balcony of the "Government House" in St. Augustine (see: => St. Augustine #17). Note that Felipe VI belongs to the Bourbon royal family (yes, as in the Bourbons of France), which family (or House of Bourbon) began to rule as monarchs at the beginning of the 18th century, and, with a couple of interruptions, remains the monarchy of Spain.
