Cuernavaca (14)

Image: On the street corner (Avenida Morelos closest, Avenida Hidalgo to the left), you see the Cathedral's old chapel and the site of a still functioning Franciscan convent.
Comments: One of the unique and most popular aspects of this cathedral are the mariachi masses at 11:00 a.m. Down the street off of the sidewalk on the right is the Jardín Borda, which you will see in Cuernavaca #16 and #17. The Franciscan order still maintains a convent on this corner.
