Here are a few views of the Panoayán farm (hacienda) owned by Sor Juana's grandfather and later managed by her mother. Juana Asbaje y Ramírez was raised here after her birth in San Miguel Nepantla in 1648 until she was sent in 1654 to an Amiga school in Amecameca, near Mexico City.
