Panoayán #3

Source: Photographs by WTL© (2009) on site at the totally commercial amusement park known as Hacienda Panoaya on the outskirsts of Amecameca, México.
Image: On the left you see the amusement park's hotel built in the early 2000's. In the photo on the right, you see a kiddy boat attraction.
Humanities questions: In the rest of the photos in this series we will see, for the most part, the restored hacienda where Sor Juana lived as a girl. However, recognizing that the hacienda was nearly in ruins before the private party bought the property (buildings, lands, etc.) on which the old hacienda stood, (A) what do you think about the style and content of this commercial enterprise the profits from which have enabled the private owner to restore the hacienda to pristine condition and to open it as a well-run museum featuring Sor Juana? (B) Compare and contrast this style and content you see in the two photos above with the style and content you see in the rest of the images in the Panoayán photo essay series.
