Comments: This view was taken from the north side of the central square. You can see the centerpiece of the place that is at the photographer's back in Machu Picchu #17. In the present image we are looking toward the so-called Barrio industrial (manufacturing neighborhood). Beyond this neighborhood and on the slope below it are the lower cemetery and the funeral grottoes.
