Comments: The central statue depicts Saint Mary as the Queen of Heaven. How do you interpret the statue above her? (For a close view of this particular statue, see the next image.) Surrounding this highly ornate (why ornate?) arch and the statues are three saints and a major churchman. You can see a close-up of the central figure in the bottom arch in a later image (Antigua #5f).
