Antigua (4)

Source: WTL© digital photograph taken on site in Antigua, Guatemala (2008).
Comments: This is a telephoto shot taken from the same place as the previous images (<= Antigua #2 and < = Antigua #3). As you see, the boy on horseback was leading (?), guiding (?), accompanying (?) the horse and buggy. The buggy driver called to the photographer inviting him to pay for a ride. The professor-photographer declined his offer politely in Spanish, the use of which language visibly surprised the driver, although he said nothing. Why might he have been surprised? In addition, the focal idea in this image tells us that Antigua attracts and is set up for an activity that we also see in cities like San Agustín/St. Augustine, Florida, New York City, and many other places. On the other hand, there are some elements one would probably not find in tourist cities in the post-industrial world. What are they?
