Machu Picchu (14)

Source: WTL photo taken on site in Machu Picchu looking toward Huayna Picchu.
Comments: This complex of buildings is on the edge of the archeological site and acts as the staging area for the path that ascends Huayna Picchu. The building on the left seems to have been a sacred area (notice the niches for statues or idols), and the building on the right seems to have been preserved for the Inca himself or other high dignataries or priests. As you walk on the path just past these two buildings there is a large rock that is thought to be a sacred stone. (Later in this virtual tour we shall walk part way up to the peak of Huayna Picchu.)
Question: There are some fun compositional features in this photograph. What are they?
