Comments: On the steps of the Cathedral, we now see an image that, in itself, conveys the Latin American humanities theme of syncretism: Spanish colonial Roman Catholic church with Quechua-speaking Peruvians, who are descendants of the Incas, dressed in their native clothes and tending their two llamas.
