Comments: The professor-photographer appoached the people seen in Cuzco #15. In Spanish—not Quechua, unfortunately—he asked permission to take the photo. As far as he could determine, these people did not speak Spanish. They gestured that he could give them a donation. He held out some money, and they indicated with hand and face gestures that what he was offerring was insufficient. He added more Peruvian Nuevos Soles; they indicated they were happy (see their faces); and he took this photo. Notice how gorgeous their clothing is.
