Comments: To find the Salcedo House you have to find this sign for Whetstone's Chocolates on St. George Street. Perhaps the reason why this house is not identified with a historical sign is that the only thing remaining from the original Spanish colonial house is the foundation. In other words, the so-called Salcedo House isn't really the Salcedo House any longer. But this is where Jorge Biassou sported his extravagant style and exotic entourage and where town's people would congregate to get a look at him and his people.
