Comments: This is the Tepozteco pyramid. It's not large, as you see, and it has been repaired. Here the Aztec god Tepoztecatl was worshiped, the god of the harvest, fertility, and pulque.
Humanities Questions: (A) What is your reaction to the fact that this pyramid was built at the top of a tall and nearly inaccessible hill? (B) Can you think of other religious monuments or edifices that exist at the top of such forbidden hills? (C) What is the purpose, in your view, of having a worship center in such a place?
