Comments: The building on the right is the Palacio Nacional, which is where Diego Rivera created his most famous murals. The Palacio Nacional houses the offices of the President, the Treasurer, and other major national government ministries. In other words, it is the most important public arts venue in Mexico. The building on the left is the Catedral Metropolitana, and the chapel immediately to the right of the Cathedral has the famous 18th century Churrigueresque façade.
