San Gregorio (1)

Comment: Here is the core of the Plateresque façade of the Colegio de San Gregorio and the main entrance to the museum. I took this photo with a wide-angle lens in order to get the entire façade in the frame at close range (my back is up against a building behind me). It was built between 1488 and 1496. This architectural style is the quintessence of Plateresque style (i.e., the intricate style used by expert silversmiths).
