Notes: This narrated visit (more story than lecture, right?) continues... It's time to descend. The steps were wet from the recent rain. (I waited a half hour for the steps to dry a little. My situation was actually dangerous. I was wearing (good) leather shoes. I was carrying a full camera bag. I was wearing a hat. I tried to throw the hat down to the bottom of the staircase in order not to lose it on the descent, but a sudden wind caught it half way down and pushed it off to an inaccessible side of the pyramid: my sacrificial offering to Chaac? So, looking down I saw these good people grabbing the chain and climbing down very carefully. My turn next?
