Comments: We are looking south through Tikal's major ball court toward the Central Acropolis, which is a complex of 45 small interconnected rooms with a number of stairways and several courtyards. Concerning this ball court at Tikal, it is worth comparing this one with the one found at Chichén Itzá (=> Chichén Itzá #7 through #10).
