Comments: Here are a few tourists sitting on these steps near the top of Temple IV. Behind these happy people you see a fence protecting the temple room which is where the Maya's priests performed their most sacred rituals. (Entrance to the temple room is blocked in order to prevent vandalism, most especially foreign graffiti practitioners.)
