Comments: This gigantic palace was constructed with prison labor during World War II (1939-1944) in a mixgture of grand architectural styles, from Renaissance to neo-Napoleonic. After the conclusion of the civil war in 1996, this building has been used for presidential receptions and for tourist museum visits.
