Comments: One observer has described this building as "an outlandish-looking mock castle complete with imitation medieval battlements." Notice the proximity of the church seen in Guate City #3 to this imposing headquarters of law and order. During the civil war, law and order was expanded to include terror and oppression.
Humanities questions: What does the architectural style of this building reinforce the sense of what it is used for? What do you think about the placing of this building/institution next to the church? In your opinion is this building objectively beautiful? Or ugly?
