Comments: On the four sides of the central patio, there are symbolic sculptural panels above the central arch on each side. This panel is on the left (west) side of the patio.

(Hint concerning one of these details: most of the craftsmen who worked for the Spanish colonial architects and engineers were native Mayas.)
