Comments: The centerpiece of this photo shows the Ayuntamiento or Casa del Cabildo (city hall), which is situated on the north side of the Parque Central. It was constructed from 1740 to 1743. The Museo de Santiago and the Museo del Libro Antiguo (minor museums) are also located in this building.
