Comments: As you see in this photograph, the professor-photographer is entering Cuba Stree (Calle Cuba) with its modern high rise buildings, open gree spaces, and shoppers who, given the time on the clock, most likely have just purchased a few things for lunch (la comida or el almuerzo). Note: as noted earlier in this digital visit to Avilés, this presence of Cuba (of course, many cities in Spain have streets named Cuba) is partial evidence of what the professor-photographer was searching for in Avilés.
