Image: Reading this pictorial series from left to right, this set follows the first two pieces in the Work Series (mixed media on newsprint, 13" x 22). This pair of paintings were displayed on the north wall under the exhibition's title.
Comments: Notice that, unlike the images on the previous page, these are set one on top of the other. Before we get to some questions, the curator-professor-photographer thinks he sees some vague resemblance between the figure in the upper drawing and the Cuban national hero, José Martí:
