Comments:The Suleymaniye Mosque (Süleymaniye Camii / Suleiman Mosque), along with the equally famous Blue Mosque in Isbanbul, Turkey, is one of the glories of world architecture. Design and construction of the mosque were ordered by the sultan Suleiman the Magnificent; the Ottoman architect was Sinan. Construction took place in the sixteenth century (1550-1557).
