Comments: Here is a typical historical (colonial) house in central Trinidad. Among the architectural features are red tile roof, window coverings (rejas and wooden shutters), and a large wooden front door. Note that there there are no screens or glass in the windows. This house belongs to a famous local artist, José Mata.
Humanities comparison: Compare and contrast this house with the colonial ones in San Agustín, Florida; See: => St. Augustine 8-10.
