Cienfuegos (5)

Comments: The founders of Cienfuegos laid out the city in a typical Spanish colonial fashion, with the government building on one side of the main plaza and the cathedral (not shown in this series) on the opposite side. The Teatro Tomás Terry (<= Cienfuegos #4) and the building in the image above are also on the central plaza. This building here is a school (!) constructed in a perfectly harmonious Neoclassical Greek style.
Humanities topic : Taken together, the three buildings shown in this series about Cienfuegos, are iconic representations of the founding spirit of the city. Write a brief essay in which you evaluate this founding spirit.
