Botero (7)

Source: WTL photograph on site in Madrid (2008).
Image: Turning around 180° from an intermediate position between the photographs in the two previous images (Botero #8 and Botero #9) in which the photographer is facing Botero's sculpture from somewhat oblique angles in the Plaza de San Juan de la Cruz, we look south down the Paseo de la Castellana in downtown Madrid. This photograph shows the other half of the physical context where the sculpture is permanently placed in Madrid, and it is looking down the boulevard on which the 1992 series of rather similar statues was located.
