Photographer's note: My goal was to take a photo of the magnificent carving on monumental colonial wooden doors such as these, which are principally found in the poor historical district. However, when I stopped in front of this door, I realized that the human subjects were more important than the doors, but I still set the camera's focus on the doors while putting this loving mother and her happy baby in the center. What comment would you make about this photograph, with which we conclude this brief virtual visit to Bahia?
