Comments: After Tláloc had poured his beneficence on the professor-photographer and the tourists (see MNA #6), the sun (Tonatiuh) came out, and the professor-photographer returned to the entrance end of the museum's central patio; he looked back from under the canopy just overhead; and he saw this scene, which shows the urban context in which the Mexico City museum is located: elegant high rises and skyscrapers.
Humanities questions: (A) Using the information in the "Comments" above, write a short paragraph in which you reflect on the seemingly anachronistic comments regarding this museum's architecture, elements in the photograph itself, and what you see in the background. (B) How does this image affect your understanding of Latin American humanities, if at all?
