Le Québec (2)

Comments: Here you see the city's Porte St. Jean (St. John Gate), one of the entrances through the city's old wall. Québec is basically a walled city in the European tradition. On the other side of this gate is the Rue St. Jean (St. John Street), where one finds very charming boutiques. Once again you can see winter's snow foreground and scraped from the street. Typically, in winter, one sees people playing ice hockey in many places throughout the entire province of Québec.
Humanities Question: What do you see that possibly distinguishes this part of Québec as Latin American.
