Comments: Things to identify on this map: (1) Peru's capital of Lima on the coast in the middle left; (2) the three geographical regions of Peru: coast, Andes mountain chain, and upper Amazon forest region to the east; (3) the Urubamba river (sacred river of the Incas) just to the east of the Andes flowing north-south; (4) Cuzco (imperial city of the Incas), just below the "E" and the "R" of PERU; (5) Lake Titicaca on the lower right bordering Bolivia; and (6) Arequipa, on the western side of the Andes just left of Lake Titicaca.
