Cuzco, Perú (21)

Source: WTL photo taken in a historical neighborhood in Cuzco.
Comments: On the left is a 16th century church in the elegant style of the Spanish Renaissance. In a lot of ways it is hard to distinguish the architecture, the cobblestone street paving and every other feature seen in this photograph from similar plazas in southern Spain, especially in the pueblos blancos in Andalucía.
Question: What does it mean for this region of Perú that there is such similarity between Latin America and Spain.?
