Humanities issues: With this photograph we return to the parking lot thus completing our circular tour of the outside of the library. The north façade depicts the pre-Hispanic world and some symbols of the university itself.
Humanities questions: (A) Do you see anything that reminds you of Tláloc (Chaac)? (B) How are these two elements— precontact and modern—related? (C) What pre-Hispanic elements do you see here? (D) In what way is pre-Hispanic Mexico integrated into this great, modern Latin American university? (E) Notice the word in the bottom right quadrant, paz ("peace"), below the white dove, a universal symbol of peace: comment on this element in the mural.
