Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (11)

Source: These images were taken by WTL at the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Basilica and Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe) in Tepeyac, México.
Comments: Here three happy children are posing for their parents' camera (to the photographer's right, off) in front of a bronze statue display of the scene in which Juan Diego, a Native Mexica, lets his cloak fall to the ground displaying the miraculous image of Guadalupe-Tonantzin and the out-of-season roses that fell at Bishop Zumárraga's feet. For notes on the miracle that took place here in 1531, see: => Juan Diego / la Virgen de Guadalupe.
