Comments: In 1952, Frida Kahlo signs a manifesto in support of pacifism. In 1953, she has her first monographic exhibition of her work. She attends the opening in a hospital bed because her right leg had been amputated. She dies in her Casa Azul in Coyoacán in July, 1954.
