Comments: Herein Kahlo is "framing" (the frame itself literally magnifies this comment many times!) the cultural contrast between Mexican nature and pre-Columbian traditions on the left side, and American industrial modernity and politics on the right side with Frida situated or trapped or mediating between the two.
