Comments: This building was constructed in the 17th century by the Marqués del Valle de Orizaba ; it was remodeled in 1737 by the fifth marquesa of this noble title in the style you see here. In the 19th century it housed the famous Jockey Club of Mexico, and in 1905 the building was extended to the street on the back side while preserving the same style.
