Comments: The professor-photographer was surprised, stunned (admiratio!) when he first saw this statue. He is completely used to and at home with Hispanic polychrome statues, but this one surprised him. Perhaps he was most surprised by the feather headdress.
Humanities Question: Speculate on the professor-photographer's admiratio reaction. Why, for instance, was he most stunned by the feathers?
