Cholula (10)

Source: Photograph by WTL© (2009) on site in Cholula, Puebla, México.
Image: The camera now looks NW down over San Pedro Cholula from the edge of the church at the top of the pyramid's hill.
Comments: If you look carefully, you can just make out a hint of Iztaccíhuatl in the hazy distance at the photo's upper left in the background. The 2009 population is about 115,000.
Humanities Question
: Given the terrain you see in this photo, what do you think has contributed throughout the ages to the fact that his area (a) has always supported a large population and (b) has produced significant cultures with their own creative humanities?
