Source: Photograph by WTL© (2015) of "History of Learning" mural (1953) at the University of Florida.
Comments: According to a publication of the Smathers Library this right side of the mural deals with this: "Learning from formal educaiton--newspapers, religion, operation of democratic processes of voting, state legislation, recreation, modern building and travel."
Humanities question: In your view, do the aspects mentioned in the quotation above correspond to your understanding of "education" in the modern era of Florida (at least, that is, up to 1953)?
