Comments: By 1952, Lam had attained full international recognition, whereby he began travelling a lot, especially with his family and with camera in hand, and he once again settled in Paris. Lam also experiments with a variety of media. In 1954 he goes to Albissola, Italy, a major center for ceramics. In 1962 he buys a house in Albissola, where he lives until his death.
