Comment: This is a view looking down from Corcovado (Hunchback Mountain, 2,330 feet high), where the large statue of Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) is located far above the city. The monolith peak on the left is the equally famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf, 1,300 feet high) on Guanabara Bay.
