Comments: Here you can see more clearly the bow and arrow or airplane design of the city. The lake is man made. Actually, the shape of the city follows the contours of the terrain. The international jury that selected Costa's design proposal chose it because of its simplicity, modernity, and appropriateness for a new national capital.
