Comments: Brasília was built for automobiles, and automobiles are built in Brazil for Brasília, like this Brasilia model I saw in the capital. The model called the Brasilia was produced by Volkswagen from 1973 to 1982. Over these years, Volkswagen has turned out over one million of theses cars. The reason why it is shown here is as the cover page for the pages dedicated to Brazil's capitol. In 2015 Brazil was producing the 7th highest number of automobiles among world automobile producers. There are still two wholly Brazilian vehicle companies: Agrale, which produces of military and commercial vehicles, engines, agricultural tractors; and TAC (Tecnologia Automotiva Catarinense), which produces one car, the four-wheel drive TAC Stark:
