Aztec Art (2)

Source: WTL© tourist photograph taken at MNA.
Comments: At the bottom of this photo you see a model (una maqueta) of the sacred walled precinct of the Great Temple of Tenochtitlán, the heart of the Aztec empire, civilization, and humanities. This model is situated, as you seen, in a large side room of the Sala Azteca in the MNA. The tallest building at the left is the pyramid with the twin temples at the top, which are each dedicated to Huitzilopochtli and Tláloc, the gods of war and rain, respectively. What are the features that are most noticeable in this sacred walled compound, all of which, of course, was razed by the Spanish conquistadors.
Humanities question: In this very clean model, what is not shown?
